The app
Gradeornot on your home screen
A few taps, no app store. It opens like any other app and still works at a card show when the signal drops.

On this device:
This browser has no install. Open gradeornot.app/install on your phone, or in Chrome or Edge on this computer, and it takes a few taps.
Why install it
One tap from your home screen
Its own icon, full screen, no address bar.
Works at a show with no signal
The grading maths runs on your phone. Pages you have opened still load with no signal, and anything that needs a live price says so.
Nothing to download or update
No app store, no account with one, no updates to wait for. It is always the current version, because it is the site.
Same account, same plan
Sign in once and Pro comes with you. Nothing about your plan changes when you install.
Is it safe to install?
No file to open
Nothing is downloaded and there is no setting to change. Your own browser installs it, over a secure connection, the way it would for any site it trusts.
No unknown sources warning
On Android, Chrome has Google build and sign the app for your phone, so it installs cleanly. Downloaded app files are what trigger that warning, and there is none here.
It can only do what the site can
No access to your contacts, files or location. The camera opens only when you tap to photograph a card. A centering photo is measured on your phone; a card or slab you scan is sent only to look it up.
Gone in one tap
Remove it like any other app. Your account and plan stay on the site.
On an iPhone or iPad
- Tap Share. In Safari it is on the bar, or behind the ⋯ button on newer iPhones.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. Gradeornot opens from its own icon, full screen.
Chrome and the other browsers on an iPhone have the same Share button, at the top right.
On Android
- Open your browser’s menu, the ⋮ at the top right in Chrome.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Tap Install. It lands with your other apps.
Use Chrome. Open gradeornot.app in Chrome and tap Install in its menu. Chrome has Google package the app for your phone, so it installs cleanly. Some other browsers build their own older style package instead, and Google Play Protect can block that one as an unsafe app. If you see that warning, remove the icon and install again from Chrome.
On a computer
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or use the Install button at the top of this page. In Safari on a Mac, choose File, then Add to Dock.
Opened from a link inside Instagram, TikTok or another app? Those browsers cannot install anything. Open the page in Safari or Chrome first.
